New in 2022 ECAM are rebuilding our website to provide practical information and resources to help people living and working in the eastern suburbs to make their own personal energy transition to support a healthier, more liveable climate. This will include themes on our own homes, our local communities, and our abilities to help mobilise green finance to implement the technologies we have today to help today.
Community environment and energy groups are combining forces to magnify our practical action by partnering in Community Power Hubs (supported by Sustainability Victoria). ECAM is part of the Yarra Valley Community Power Hub to build action on renewable energy projects for their communities together with six community climate action organisations around the north and south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
You can also keep up with our latest information or contact us via the ECAM Facebook page.
Eastern Climate Action Melbourne (ECAM) is a community group in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne to promote action and advocacy for strong action to reduce carbon emissions and create a safe climate now.
We are located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, predominantly in the cities of Whitehorse, Knox, Monash and Maroondah.
We seek to increase community awareness of what each of us can do in our own homes and businesses and to advocate for strong government action to reduce carbon emissions and create a safe climate now.
