Eastern Climate Action Melbourne

Safe Climate Now
What impact is our changing climate having on our lives, jobs and homes? Climate change is beginning to hit Australia hard as the east coast tries to cope with rain and floods. At the same time the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 6th Assessment Report looks at adaptation - the billions of dollars we'll spend to live with a harder climate. Listen here to the Australian Academy of Science speaking on this report.
Come and see ECAM and our programs supporting your energy transition at the Community Energy Roadshow coming up in June.

If you missed our Electrify Your Wheels!

you get another chance to speak to drivers a bout their EV experience at the Whitehorse Sustainability Week Electric Vehicle Expo 22 May.  You can read about Electrify Your Wheels! or check out our electrify your transport page.
New in 2022 ECAM are rebuilding our website to provide practical information and resources to help people living and working in the eastern suburbs to make their own personal energy transition to support a healthier, more liveable climate. This will include themes on our own homes, our local communities, and our abilities to help mobilise green finance to implement the technologies we have today to help today.

Community environment and energy groups are combining forces to magnify our practical action by partnering in Community Power Hubs (supported by Sustainability Victoria). ECAM is part of the Yarra Valley Community Power Hub  to build action on renewable energy projects for their communities together with six community climate action organisations around the north and south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
