At the same time the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 6th Assessment Report looks at adaptation - the billions of dollars we'll spend to live with a harder climate. New in 2022 ECAM are rebuilding our website to provide practical information and resources to help people living and working in the eastern suburbs to make their own personal energy transition to support a healthier, more liveable climate. This will include themes on our own homes, our local communities, and our abilities to help mobilise green finance to implement the technologies we have today to help today.
Community environment and energy groups are combining forces to magnify our practical action. ECAM promotes activities of like organisations with complementary objectives and activities. |

We are located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, predominantly in the cities of Whitehorse, Knox, Monash and Maroondah. We seek to increase community awareness of what each of us can do in our own homes and businesses and to advocate for strong government action to reduce carbon emissions and create a safe climate now. |
